The Westside Discs Destiny is a speed-14 understable distance driver rated 14 / 6 / -2 / 3.[1][3] Westside's own pitch leads with two numbers rather than the whole set: "Two things are undeniable about this disc — speed and glide. This beauty really gets out there."[1] The 6 glide is high for a 14-speed and is the main reason the mold reaches distance that faster-rimmed drivers need more power to match. Its physical profile is very shallow — 1.6cm height and a 1.1cm rim depth on a 21.2cm diameter, with a 2.3cm rim — which is typical of the maximum-distance class.[2] Disc Golf Puttheads calls it one of the most user-friendly 14-speed drivers available.[3]

Westside frames the Destiny as a driver with two distinct audiences: high-power arms can throw it powered down and still get distance, while lower arm speeds can use it as "your long range bomber."[1] The -2 turn makes it a natural hyzer-flip disc — released on a slight hyzer it stands up and rides out on the glide — and it holds long anhyzer and turnover lines that more stable 14-speeds refuse. History

The Destiny was PDGA-approved on February 25, 2016 under certification number 16-18, with a 176.0g maximum weight, 21.2cm diameter, 1.6cm height, 1.1cm rim depth and 2.3cm rim thickness.[2] The PDGA database records the mold under the name "Destiny (Kohtalo1)" — kohtalo being Finnish for destiny, reflecting Westside's Finnish origins and the company's practice of registering molds under Finnish working names.[2] It slotted into a distance-driver lineup that already included the King and the Queen, giving Westside a high-glide understable option between them, and it remains in the brand's current catalogue at 14 6 -2 3.[4] The mold has been produced across the full Westside plastic range, including VIP, VIP-Ice, VIP Air, VIP Hybrid, Tournament and Moonshine glow runs.[1][4]
